Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Nature Thank You Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Encircled In Nature stamp set bundle from the Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming Online Exclusives to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC329.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a panel of Earthen Elegance DSP to the front of an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the tree image and sentiment from the Encircled In Nature stamp set (Online Exclusive item available March 5) in Early Espresso and Smoky Slate inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I cut around the images with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I cut a panel of Early Espresso card stock with one of the Encircled In Nature Dies (Online Exclusive item available March 5) and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut panels of Pecan Pie and Wild Wheat card stocks with one of the Encircled In Nature Dies and then adhered the die cut wreaths to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with two of the Encircled In Nature Dies and then colored the images with Light and Dark Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers and Deep Combo Pack Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I layered a length of Wild Wheat 3/8″ Textured Ribbon and then tied the center with a length of Linen Thread.  I adhered the ribbon to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot and then added three brown sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Earthen Elegance DSP to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Beautiful use of our new color palette over at Sunday Stamps!! You are sure to inspire those who play along with our “Harbinger of Spring” challenge!! #SSC329

  2. Ha! I admired your DSP and thought to myself, “I have to order that.” Then, when I saw what you used, I said, “You have that silly and haven’t used it since you left Florida!” So, you know I love your card :=D

  3. I didn’t get that set because I didn’t think I needed it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful card. Guess I better order the bundle.
