I used the Stampin’ Up! Hello Kiwi stamp set and a little of the Flight & Airy DSP from the Sale-a-bration brochure to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
I started by adhering a panel of Flight & Airy DSP (Sale-a-bration item, ends today!) to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered two narrower panels of Flight & Airy DSP together to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Kiwi photopolymer stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut a panel of Flight & Airy DSP with the same Stylish Shapes Die and then adhered the die cut banners together with Stampin’ Seal.
I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Pecan Pie gems from the Opaque Faceted Gems (Sale-a-bration item) to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of the Flight & Airy DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
