Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Gratitude Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set bundle from the upcoming Online Exclusives to create my card to share today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Simply Zinnia Gratitude Card

My card design was inspired by the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC242.  I went down the right side and from lower left to upper right.

I started by adhering a panel of the Flowering Zinnias DSP (Online Exclusive item available March 5) to the front of a Flirty Flamingo card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive item available March 5).  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Melon Mambo card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the flower image from the Simply Zinnia stamp set (Online Exclusive item available March 5) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the image with Light and Dark Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Simply Zinnia Dies (Online Exclusive item available March 5) and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I adhered a small length of Lemon Lolly ribbon from the 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Zinnia stamp set in Melon Mambo ink on a strip of Basic White card stock.  I punched both ends of the strip with the Banners Pick A Punch and adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two of the Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins (Online Exclusive item available March 5) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Zinnia stamp set in Melon Mambo ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Flowering Zinnia DSP to the bottom of the panel to finish the inside of the card.
