Stampin’ Up! Trusty Toolbox Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Trusty Tools stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.  I used a little different color scheme for my YouTube video, so swing by and check out that card too!

Stampin' Up! Trusty Toolbox Birthday Card

I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a panel of Basic White card stock two times with the pegboard die from the Trusty Tools Dies and then adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the paintbrush outline images from the Trusty Tools stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I inked, stamped off on scrap paper and then stamped the paintbrush handle image from the Trusty Tools stamp set in Lost Lagoon, Balmy Blue, Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia inks over the outline images.  I stamped the “paint” image from the Trusty Tools stamp set on the end of the paintbrush in the coordinating full strength ink.  I cut the paintbrushes out with the coordinating die from the Trusty Tools Dies and adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I tied a small bow from Linen Thread and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot to the card front.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Bubble Bath card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder (returning in fall 2024) and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Timeless Arrangements Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two of the Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds (restocking around March 11) to finish the card front.
