Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree CAS Congratulations Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog to create a quick congratulations card to share with you today.  I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it  here.

Stampin' Up! Loveliest Tree CAS Congratulations Card

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #630.

I started by adhering a panel of Country Woods DSP (available May 1) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  Then I stamped the tree image from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (available May 1) three times in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.

I colored the tree images with Light and Dark Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Mossy Meadows Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Loveliest Tree Dies (available May 1) and then adhered the die cuts with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I trimmed the die cuts even with the edges of the card base.  I tied a small bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Loveliest Tree stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two gold sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of the Country Woods DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
