Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Hello Friend Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “for the ladies/girls” theme and I’m featuring the Country Birdhouse stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog for my card.

Stampin' Up! Country Birdhouse Hello Friend Card

My card was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments HSSC #435.

I started by adhering a panel of Country Lace DSP (available May 1) to the front of a Basic Beige card base (card stock available May 1) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut panels of County Woods DSP (available May 1) with the large birdhouse, roof and base dies from the Country Birdhouse Dies (available May 1) and Stylish Shapes Dies.  I cut panels of Pool Party and Petal Pink card stocks with the roof accessory dies from the Country Birdhouse Dies.  I adhered the die cut pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I cut a panel Crumb Cake card stock with the small circle and rope dies from the Country Birdhouse Dies and then cut a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock twice with the greenery die from the Country Flowers Dies (available May 1).  I adhered the rope die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the greenery and small circle with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I stamped the flower and bird images from the Country Birdhouse stamp set (available May 1) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark Pool Party, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lolly and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I adhered the die cut images with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Pool Party ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Perennial Postage Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I cut panels of Pool Party and Petal Pink card stocks with the flower dies from the Country Birdhouse Dies and adhered them with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I added two Smoky Slate pearls from the Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls (available May 1) to finish the card front.

  1. Beautiful, Amy! I was letting this one go by, but now you’re making me think again, as usual, lol. It fits perfectly on a card front, and I love the sweet blossoms with it! Thanks so much for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

  2. Gorgeous! Love that birdhouse set, and your colors are perfect for a lady. I don’t know why I said that…any color is perfect for a lady, but I do like the soft colors on this card.

  3. Such a soft and serene card! I love this bundle and I love your take on using it for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge! Thanks for joining in the fun!

  4. Love how you were inspired by the HSS Mood Board, Amy. That new stamp set works so well for the challenge, and you did a great job to showing off new products. Thanks for joining us this round. Cheers, Jolanda – DT.
