I used the Stampin’ Up! Citrus Blooms stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP691.
I started by scoring a Thick Basic White card base at 2-1/8″ and again at 6-3/8″. I folded the scored sides together and then adhered panels of Mediterranean Blooms DSP to panels of Night Of Navy card stock and then to either side of the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I folded a strip of Night of Navy paper around the center of the card and then adhered the ends together on the card front to create the belly band. Then I adhered another panel of Mediterranean Blooms DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock and to the belly band with Stampin’ Seal. I cut a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it to the belly band with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Mediterranean Blooms DSP with the coordinating Citrus Blooms Die and adhered the die cut to the die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Citrus Blooms stamp set in Night Of Navy ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Unbounded Love Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the belly band and then added two Night Of Navy gems from the Opal Rounds Assortment (restocking around July 3) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Mediterranean blooms DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the Basic White panel to a panel of Night Of Navy card stock and then to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
