I used the Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set bundle to create a quick thinking of you card to share with you today. I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #640.
I started by inking the small butterfly image from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Gray Granite ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it across a panel of Basic White card stock. I embossed the panel with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Gray Granite card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Lemon Lolly card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the butterflies from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark Lemon Lolly and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the butterflies out with the coordinating Sketched Butterflies Dies and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Gray Granite card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Nested Essentials Dies and adhered it with Mini Glue Dots to the card front. I added three Lemon Lolly sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.
I stamped the butterfly images from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
