I used the Stampin’ Up! Poised Peony stamp set to create a quick birthday card to share with you today. I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.
My card design was inspired by Sketch Saturday #753.
I started by adhering panels of Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP to the top and bottom of a Lost Lagoon card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered another larger panel of Frames & Flowers DSP to the front of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the flower image from the Poised Peony stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a panel of Frames & Flowers DSP and then cut around it with one of the Greetings Of The Season Dies (Online Exclusive item available July 3). I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through the top of the tag die cut twice and then tied a bow. I adhered the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Poised Peony stamp set in Pretty Peacock in on a panel of Petal Pink card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal and then added two Pretty Peacock pearls from the Blooming Pearls pack to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Frames & Flowers DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
