Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along Double Z-Fold Fun Fold Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating fun fold projects and I’m featuring the Trucking Along stamp set bundle for my card.

Stampin' Up! Trucking Along Double Z-Fold Fun Fold Birthday Card

I started by scoring an Old Olive card base at 2-3/4″ and again at 5-1/2″.  Then I adhered panels of patterned paper from the Season Of Green & Gold Specialty DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the left and right sides of the card base with Stampin’ Seal.

Then I scored a 3″ x 10″ panel of Old Olive card stock at 4-3/4″ and again at 7-1/2″.  I folded the panel on the score lines and then adhered the panel to the left side card front and to the inside of the card base with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the tree, sunflowers and cloud outline images from the Trucking Along photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive stamp set) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Then I stamped the tree top and grass images from the Trucking Along stamp set in Old Olive ink, the sunflowers in Crushed Curry ink, the clouds in Pool Party ink, the “ground” in Pecan Pie ink (stamped on scrap paper once before stamping on the panel) and the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink on a the panel.  I colored the tree trunks and flower centers with Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers and the sunflower leaves with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers and then adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the lined truck image and small sentiment from the Trucking Along stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then stamped the solid truck image in Azure Afternoon ink over the lined image.  I colored the tires with Basic Black, Gray Granite and Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blend Markers and then punched the truck out with the coordinating Trucking Along Builder Punch (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the truck image to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and then added two Adhesive-Backed Dots For Days near the sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment from the Labeled With Love photopolymer stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then adhered it on the inside of the card to finish it.

  1. Love those two DSP patterns together and I love the card. The paper goes perfect with the truck, makes you think you are driving along on a summer country road. Thank you for reminding me of this stamp set. I need to use it.😊💖
