I used the Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart stamp set and a little of the pretty patterned paper from the Perennial Lavender DSP to create a quick birthday card to share with you today.  I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #650.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Perennial Lavender DSP (on sale for 15% off through August 31) to the front of a Gorgeous Grape card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Perennial Lavender DSP into three pieces and adhered the DSP pieces to panels of Gorgeous Grape card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panels to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I tied a small bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Flower Card photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Everyday Details Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two Purple Shimmer Gems near the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Flower Cart stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Perennial Lavender DSP to the panel to finish the inside of the card.
