Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Star Christmas Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Star stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card to share with you today.   I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can find it right here.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Star Christmas Card

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Sweetest Star photopolymer stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  Then I embossed the panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered strips of patterned paper from Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ DSP to the top and bottom of the embossed panel with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the cookie image from the Sweetest Star stamp set in VersaMark ink twice on a panel of Pecan Pie card stock, sprinkled the images with white embossing powder and then heat embossed them.  I punched the two stars out with the Sweetest Star Punch and adhered the images to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Star Christmas Card

I stamped the Santa image from the Sweetest Star stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the image with Light and Dark Real Red, Basic Black and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the face with the Stampin’ Blends Light Combo Pack Markers and then punched the image out with the Sweetest Star Punch.  I adhered the image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Iridescent Faceted Gems to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sweetest Star stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Take A Bow DSP to finish the inside of the card.
