I used the Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was loosely inspired by TGIF Challenges #498.

I started by cutting a panel of Pool Party card stock three times with the dotted die from the Peaceful Evergreens Dies. Then I cut strips of Basic White card stock with the border die from the Gone Fishing Dies.  I adhered the die cut strips to the Pool Party card stock panel with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the layered panel to a panel of Basic White card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of an Early Espresso card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the small trees image from the Peaceful Evergreens stamp set in Old Olive ink three times on Basic White card stock and then cut the images out with the coordinating Peaceful Evergreens Dies.  I adhered the die cut trees to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  Then I applied small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of patterned paper from the Country Woods DSP and cut the panel with one of the Sophisticated Sled Dies (Online Exclusive item).  I cut a panel of silver foil from the Brushed Silver & Gold Foil Specialty Paper (Online Exclusive item) with the rails die from the Sophisticated Sled Dies and I adhered the die cuts together with the Adhesive Sheets.  I adhered the sled to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sophisticated Sled photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Real Red card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Greetings Of The Season Dies (Online Exclusive items) and then pulled a strand of Real Red & White Baker’s Twine and tied a bow.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and then added three Iridescent Faceted Gems to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sophisticated Sled stamp set in Real Red ink and the tree image from the Peaceful Evergreens stamp set in Old Olive inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside 0f the card.
