Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Evergreens CAS Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Evergreens stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Evergreens CAS Christmas Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

The theme for my card was inspired by The Paper Players PP716.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Season Of Elegance DSP to a panel of gold foil from the Brushed Silver & Gold Foil Specialty Sheets (Online Exclusive item) with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the tree image from the Peaceful Evergreens stamp set in Misty Moonlight, Night Of Navy and Boho Blue inks on a panel of Basic Beige card stock and then cut them out with the coordinating Peaceful Evergreens Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a panel of Basic Beige card stock and then cut it with the Peaceful Season Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I applied small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of gold foil from the Brushed Silver & Gold Foil Specialty Paper and then cut the foil and a panel of Basic Beige card stock with the sentiment dies from the Peaceful Season Dies.  I adhered the die cuts together with the Adhesive Sheets and then adhered the layered die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink and the trees from the Peaceful Evergreens stamp set in Night Of Navy ink on a panel of Basic Beige card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Oh, so pretty Amy! Love the colors you used and how you layered the sentiment over the trees-the banner adds a nice flourish to the design. Thanks so much for joining us at The Paper Players this week!

  2. Beautiful, Amy! The beige and blue color choices are lovely, while the gold adds a touch of elegance. I LOVE it! Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!

  3. Oh wow, Amy, I love this card. The colors, the gold… all of it. As you love leaves, I love trees (and leaves, too, lol), so I need every product you used! <3 it
