Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-April 2025 Mini Catalog to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Delightful Wishes Birthday Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering three panels patterned paper from the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty DSP (available January 7) to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Mini Glue Dots (hidden under the designs).  Then I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Delightful Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Daffodil Delight (stamped off once for the solid flower images) and Old Olive inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.

I cut the stamped flower images with the coordinating Delightful Wishes Dies (available January 7) and then adhered them to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I applied small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Early Espresso card stock and then cut that panel and a panel of Basic White card stock with the sentiment dies from the Delightful Wishes Dies.  I adhered the die cuts together with the Adhesive Sheets and then to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Delightful Wishes stamp set in Pool Party ink on Basic White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating Delightful Wishes Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two Tiny Bee Trinkets (available January 7) with rolled up Mini Glue Dots to finish the card front.
