I used the Stampin’ Up! Hearts Of Elegance stamp set bundle and a little of the Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP to create a fun fold Valentine card to share with you today. I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.
This basic card design was inspired by a card that my stamping friend Tara Carpenter made and you can see it here on her blog. I started by scoring a panel of patterned paper from the Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP (Online Exclusive item) and then adhering it to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a panel of Real Red card stock with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Hearts Of Elegance photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Real Red card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with one of the Perennial Postage Dies and then adhered the stamped panel to the die cut gold foil with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered die cut to the folded flap of DSP with Stampin’ Seal placed only on the left side of the die cut.
I cut panels of Marbled Elegance DSP and Gold Foil Sheets with three of the heart dies from the Hearts Of Elegance Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered the largest heart with Mini Glue Dots and the other two hearts with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Hearts Of Elegance stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added another of the Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins to finish the inside of the card.
