Stampin’ Up! Birthday Celebration Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “celebration” theme and I’m featuring the Birthday Celebration stamp set bundle for my card.

Stampin' Up! Birthday Celebration Card

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP (available January 7) to the front of a Pretty In Pink card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut one of the preprinted card front panels from the Wildflower Birthday DSP and I adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to a panel of Pretty In Pink card stock.

I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered one of the preprinted die cuts from the Wildflower Birthday DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Celebration photopolymer stamp set (available January 7) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then slid the die over a bit, lined up the dots and then cut the banner a bit shorter.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Pretty In Pink dots from the Party Dots (available January 7) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiments from the Birthday Celebration stamp set in Pretty In Pink ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Wildflower Birthday DSP to finish the inside of the card.
