Stampin’ Up! Humble Home Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Humble Home stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Humble Home Thank You Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Humble Home stamp set in Balmy Blue ink across the front of a Balmy Blue card base.  Then I stamped the tree image Forever Forest stamp set across the card front in Garden Green ink.

I tore a panel of Old Olive card stock across one side and then stamped the sentiment from the Humble Home stamp set in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basic Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I adhered the sentiment panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the house images from the Humble Home stamp set in Gray Granite, Pecan Pie, Cherry Cobbler and Lemon Lolly inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I punched the houses and windows with the Humble Home Builder Punch (restocking in late January) and snipped out the door images and then adhered the doors and windows to the houses with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered the Gray Granite houses with Mini Glue Dots and the Cherry Cobbler house with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two Pecan Pie dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the tree images from the Forever Forest stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
