I used the Stampin’ Up! Storybook Friends stamp set and a little of the Fruit Salad DSP from the Sale-a-bration Brochure to create a quick thank you card to share with you today.  I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.

My card theme was inspired by TGIF Challenges #505.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Fruit Salad 6″ x 6″ DSP ($60 level Sale-a-bration item available January 7) to the front of a Garden Green card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of Early Espresso card stock with Stampin’ Seal at a slight angle across the front of the card.

I adhered another panel of Fruit Salad DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Fruit Salad DSP with one of the banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered the die cut banner to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I tied a bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Storybook Friends stamp set (available January 7) in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Real Red card stock.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it to a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch (Online Exclusive item) with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut a panel of Garden Green card stock with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then adhered it to the back of the layered sentiment with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Garden Green dots from the Earth Tones Shimmer Gems to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Fruit Salad DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
