Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Thank You Friend Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set bundle and coordinating suite products from the upcoming March 4 Online Exclusives to create a thank you card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC355.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card also works for Just Us Girls #764 stencil week.

I started by cutting panels of patterned paper from the Lovely Garden DSP (Online Exclusive item available March 4) with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item available March 4).  I adhered the die cut panels to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Seal.

I used Blending Brushes to apply Crushed Curry and Garden Green inks with the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks (Online Exclusive item available March 4) to a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I stamped the flower image from the  Thankful Garden photopolymer stamp set over the stenciled image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Thankful Garden Dies (Online Exclusive item available March 4) and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Thankful Garden stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Crushed Curry card stock, sprinkled it with black embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Textured Notes Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered three Starburst Sequins (Online Exclusive item available March 4) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Lovely Garden DSP to the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
