Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom stamp set bundle from the upcoming May 2025 Online Exclusives to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Impressions Abloom Thank You Card

Here is the theme that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the On The Go DSP (Online Exclusive item) to a Strawberry Slush card base (available May 6) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a strand of Strawberry Slush twine from the Pack Your Bags Twine Three-Pack (Online Exclusive item) around the card front twice and tied a bow.   Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the dies from the Impressions Abloom Dies (Online Exclusive item available May 6).  I embossed the die cut with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive item available May 6).

I applied small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of panel of Strawberry Slush card stock and then cut it with the oval frame die from the Impressions Abloom Dies.  I adhered the frame to the embossed oval with the Adhesive Sheets and then adhered the ovals to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I applied small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock and then cut the panel with the stem and leaves dies from the Impressions Abloom Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with the Adhesive Sheets and then snipped the stems even with the bottom of oval die cut.

I stamped the lined flower images from the Impressions Abloom stamp set (Online Exclusive item available May 6) in Strawberry Slush, Darling Ducking and Timid Tiger inks (available May 6) on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I inked the solid flower images from the Impressions Abloom stamp set in Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger inks, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them over the lined images.  I stamped the flower center images in Pecan Pie ink on the Basic White panel and then cut the images out with the coordinating Impressions Abloom Dies.  I adhered the flowers together and to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Impressions Abloom stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Strawberry Slush card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered two of the Strawberry Slush gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems (Online Exclusive item available May 6) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of On The Go DSP to the bottom of the Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
