Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms You Make Me Smile Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “for the ladies/girls” theme and I’m featuring the Sweet Blooms stamp set bundle for my card.

Stampin' Up! Sweet Blooms You Make Me Smile Card

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #06.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Florals In Bloom DSP (available May 6) to the front of a Cloud Cover card base (card stock available May 6) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Florals In Bloom DSP two times with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the two die cuts one on top of the other so that the seam would be covered by the sentiment.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut panels of Cloud Cover, Secret Sea and Timid Tiger card stocks (available May 6) with the floral and greenery dies from the Pretty Florals Dies (available May 6).  I used a Small Blending Brush to apply Timid Tiger ink (available May 6) to the small floral die cuts and then adhered the flowers together and to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Blooms photopolymer stamp set in Secret Sea ink (available May 6) on a panel of Timid Tiger card stock and then cut the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I trimmed one side and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered three Timid Tiger gems from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (available May 6) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Florals In Bloom DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
