Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Motifs Thinking Of You CAS Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Motifs stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Motifs Thinking Of You CAS Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week…you have to squint a bit to see the sketch in my card, but I think it work!

I started by cutting a panel of patterned paper from the Beautiful Gallery DSP (available May 6).  Then I trimmed the “negative” die cut paper to card front sized and then adhered the frame (it’s REALLY thin!) to the front of a Pecan Pie card base with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the die cut rectangle panel of Beautiful Gallery DSP to a panel of Secret Sea card stock (available May 6) with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set (available May 6) in Secret Sea ink (available May 6) on a panel of Cloud Cover card stock (available May 6).

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Textured Notes Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three dots from the Pressed Flower Motifs (available May 6) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Beautiful Gallery DSP that I’d trimmed from the die cut panel to a panel of Basic Beige card stock to finish the inside of the card.
