Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up! Cake Celebrations Birthday Card

The colors for my card were inspired by The Paper Players PP733.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Pattern Of Friendship Die (Online Exclusive item) two times, turning the panel 90 degrees between runs through the machine.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a panel of Floral & Gingham Specialty DSP with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Impressions Abloom Dies (Online Exclusive item, available May 6) and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the cake and flower images from the Cake Celebrations photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Gray Granite, Fresh Freesia (stamped off once for the solid cake images), Pool Party, Lemon Lolly and Granny Apple Green inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the flowers, candle and cake stand out with the coordinating Cake Celebrations Dies (Online Exclusive item), snipped out the two cake layers and adhered the die cuts and images to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cake Celebration stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Unbounded Love Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiments from the Cake Celebrations stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered two leftover die cuts from the panel with Mini Glue Dots to finish the inside of the card.
