Stampin’ Up! Sunrise Sailing Congratulations Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Surise Sailing stamp set bundle from the upcoming May 6 Online Exclusives to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Sunrise Sailing Congratulations Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by stamping the water images from the Sunrise Sailing photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item available May 6) in Lost Lagoon ink across the front of a Cloud Cover card base (card stock available May 6).  Then I cut a panel of Darling Duckling card stock with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I stamped the bird image from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set in Secret Sea ink three times across the card front.  I cut a panel of Secret Sea card base with the boat dies from the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder Dies.  I adhered the die cut boat pieces together with Stampin’ Seal and then adhere the die cuts to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set in Secret Sea ink on a panel of Timid Tiger card stock (available May 6).  Then I cut the sentiment out with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item, restocking around May 12), then cut the panel again with the same die to make it a bit shorter.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Timid Tiger dots from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (available May 6) to finish the card front.

I stamped the water and bird images from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set in Lost Lagoon and Secret Sea inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. By the time I get through visiting the hoppers today, I’ll probably have enough product in my shopping cart to remain a demo through this quarter…lol! Since most of my new-found friends in TN live on a lake and have boats, I might just have to…well, you know what! Love your card.
