I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Jar stamp set bundle from the upcoming May 6 Online Exclusive items to create a quick card to share with you today. I also made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the On The Go DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Strawberry Slush card base (card stock available May 6) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I wrapped a strand of Strawberry Slush twine from the Pack Your Bags Twine Three-Pack (Online Exclusive item) two times around the card front and I tied a bow.
I tucked a panel of Strawberry Slush card stock under the twine and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and I colored a line on the panel toward the lower left area with the Light Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Marker. I colored over the line with the Color Lifter to lighten it and then adhered the die cut to a panel of Pecan Pie card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the cookie jar, cookies and lid from the Sweet Jar photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item available May 6) in Gray Granite, Basic Beige, Crumb Cake, Strawberry Slush (available May 6) and Pecan Pie inks. I punched the images out with the coordinating Sweet Jar Builder Punch (Online Exclusive item available May 6) and then colored the edges of the jar with a Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker. I colored over the edges with the Color Lifter to lighten it a bit and then adhered the jar pieces to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and Mini Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiments from the Sweet Jar stamp set in Pecan Pie and Strawberry Slush inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two of the Strawberry Slush gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems (Online Exclusive item available May 6) to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of On The Go DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
