I used the Stampin’ Up! Turtle-y Awesome stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card to share with you today. I also made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #684.
I started by embossing a panel of Garden Green card stock with the Turtle Textures Embossing Folder (available May 6). I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Garden Green card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I trimmed the card front with one of the Fancy Border Dies (Online Exclusive item) .

I cut a panel of patterned paper from the Turtle-y Cute DSP (available May 6) with the balloon, hat, turtle and ice cream cone dies from the Turtle-y Awesome Dies (available May 6). I adhered the balloon to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and then adhered the turtle and hat die cuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tucked the ice cream cone die cut under the turtles arm and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Turtle-y Awesome stamp set (available May 6) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Everyday Arches Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two Shades Of Green Hexagons (available May 6) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Turtle-y Awesome stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a strip of Turtle-y Cute DSP to the right side of the card base with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
