Stampin’ Up! Sunrise Sailing Congratulations Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sunrise Sailing stamp set bundle to create a congratulations card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC630.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by stamping the lined image from the Sunrise Sailing photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Balmy Blue ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I embossed the panel with the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive item).  Then I used a Blending Brush to apply Balmy Blue ink to the “water” area on the embossed panel.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Lemon Lolly card stock with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the sailboat images from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set in Gray Granite, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut and embossed the image with the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder and then adhered the sailboat to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I stamped the bird image from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set three times in Gray Granite ink across the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Poppy Parade card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item), slid the die over about 1/2″, lined up the stitches and then cut the sentiment a little shorter.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three of the Riverside Irregular Pearls to finish the card front.

I stamped the bird and water images from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set in Balmy Blue and Gray Granite inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
