I used the Stampin’ Up! More Messages stamp set bundle to create a quick card to share with you today. I also made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.
My card design was inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches #560.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Florals In Bloom DSP pack to the front of a Cloud Cover card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut a panel of Florals In Bloom DSP four times with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the die cut pieces to squares cut from Secret Sea card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I tied a small bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot. I stamped the sentiment from the More Messages stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Secret Sea ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating More Messages Dies (Online Exclusive item).
I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the bow and then added two Cloud Cover dots from the Muted Palette Dots to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Florals In Bloom DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Love this card! By using the 4 squares, you can get more cuts out of your 12X12 DSP, and still showcase that beautiful paper. I think you wanted the squares to be 1.5, instead of .5. Hopefully others will see that before they cut their DSP.
Thanks Julie! I’m confused…where did you see that the squares were listed as .5? The tutorial and writeup both say 1-5/8″ x 1-5/8″ for the Secret Sea squares and Stylish Shapes die cuts for the DSP. If you can direct me to the spot with the .5 squares, I’ll fix it. 🙂
