I used the Stampin’ Up! You Are Remarkable stamp set to create a friend card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel here.
I started by applying Lemon Lolly ink to a panel of patterned paper from the Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP. Then I adhered the panel to the front of a Lemon Lolly card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a banner in the end of a strip of Lemon Lime Twist paper from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP and then adhered the strip to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I inked a Clear Block B with Lemon Lime Twist ink, spritzed it with water in a Stampin’ Spritzer and then “stamped” the block on a panel of Basic White card stock. I repeated that process with Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lolly inks and then allowed the paper to dry completely. I stamped the flower image from the You Are Remarkable photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Basic Gray ink over the ink block images and then adhered the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a bow with white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and then adhered the bow with a Mini Glue Dot to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the You Are Remarkable stamp set in Basic Gray ink, stamped it on Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item). I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
I applied Lemon Lolly ink to a small strip of Irresistible Designs DSP with a Blending Brush and then adhered it to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
