I used the Stampin’ Up! Poppin’ By stamp set bundle to create a fun card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #464.
I started by embossing a panel of Real Red card stock with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Real Red card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered strips of patterned paper from the Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP and the Floral Delight DSP (both on sale Buy One, Get One 50% Off through June 30) to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I cut a circle from Basic White card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I stamped the popcorn box image from the Poppin’ By stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Real Red ink and Daffodil Delight ink twice on Basic White card stock. I cut all four images out with the coordinating Poppin’ By Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then snipped the “popcorn” part of the image on the Real Red die cuts off. I adhered the Daffodil Delight images to the back of the Real Red images with Stampin’ Seal.
I applied Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Early Espresso card stock and I cut the panel with the glasses and shoes dies from the Poppin’ By Dies. I adhered the die cut glasses and shoes to the popcorn boxes with the Adhesive Sheets and then adhered the popcorn boxes to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Poppin’ By stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock and then cut around it with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item). I slid the die over about 1/2″, lined up the stitches and then cut the panel again to shorten the sentiment die cut a bit. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal and then added two dots from the Muted Palette Dots to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Marbled Elegance DSP to the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
