I used the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set and Bee Builder Punch to create a quick card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC362. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!
My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC272. I went from upper left to lower right.
I started by stamping the trail image three timesand sentiment from the Bee My Valentine photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of patterned paper from the Beautiful Bokeh DSP (on sale buy one, get one 50% off in June). Then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the bee bodies from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil Delight and the wings in Petal Pink inks on a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the lined body, faces and lined wing images from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink over the solid images.

I punched the stamped images out with the Bee Builder Punch and then adhered the wings to the back of the bodies with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered the bees to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two dots from the Muted Palette Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the wing outline and trail images from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the bee body, stripes and face in Daffodil Delight and Tuxedo Black Memento inks on a panel of Basic White card stock, punched it out with the Bee Builder Punch and then adhered the bee to the Basic White panel to finish the inside of the card.
