Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set bundle from the upcoming July 1 Online Exclusives to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Charming Day Birthday Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Floral Charm DSP (Online Exclusive item available July 1) to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock with one of the Textured Notes Dies (restocking around July 7).

I adhered another panel of Floral Charm DSP to the die cut rectangle with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Basic Beige card stock with one of the Charming Day Dies (Online Exclusive item available July 1) and then used a Blending Brush to apply Early Espresso ink to the die cut.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Day stamp set (Online Exclusive item available July 1) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots (Online Exclusive item available July 1) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Floral Charm DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
