Stampin’ Up! More Messages CAS Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! More Messages stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! More Messages CAS Birthday Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with one of the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders (Online Exclusive item restocking around August 11).  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Then I cut two of the Celebration Expressions Memories & More Card Pack cards with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered one of the die cuts with Stampin’ Seal and the other with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiments from the More Messages stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Berry Burst card stock, sprinkled them with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed them.  I cut the sentiments out with the coordinating More Messages Die (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered the birthday sentiment with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Iridescent Faceted Gems to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of one of the Celebration Expressions Memories & More Card Pack cards to a panel of Basic White card stock and then added one of the other die cut sentiments to finish the inside of the card.
