Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  I also created this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.

Stampin' Up! Bauble Blooms Christmas Card

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #695.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the embossing folder from the Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with Stampin’ Seal and then to a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the ornament and bow images from the Bauble Blooms photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled them with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed them.

I stamped the lined floral image from the Bauble Blooms stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink over the embossed image and then cut the images out with the Bauble Blooms Dies (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the die cut ornament to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the lined flower image from the Bauble Blooms stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then inked the fill-in image from the Bauble Blooms stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the lined image.

I cut the flowers out with the coordinating Bauble Blooms Dies and then adhered the two die cut flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with the ornament cap die from the Bauble Blooms Dies and adhered the die cut to the top of the ornament with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered the die cut bow with Mini Glue Dots to the top of the ornament.

I stamped the sentiments from the Bauble Blooms stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the sentiment out with one of the Wonderful Thoughts Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Flower Accents (restocking around July 28) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Bauble Blooms stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I stamped the bow image from the Bauble Blooms stamp set in VersaMark ink under the sentiment and then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I adhered the panel to the inside of the card base to finish the card.

Tax Free Holidays Coming Soon – Save On Stampin’ Up! Supplies!

Woohoo!  Twelve states are having Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

The states with upcoming tax holidays are:  Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.  So if you live in one of those states take a second to download the spreadsheet below and mark your calendar!

Here is the list of states having sales tax holidays, what the dates are and what supplies will be tax free during the holiday (click on the image to download a full-size printable page):

Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period in your state in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday).  Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

For those wondering about Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin, those states have suspended the sales tax holiday this year.
