Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Thank You Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set bundle to create a thank you card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel here.

Stampin' Up! Charming Day Thank You Card

My card design was inspired by Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC276.  My card fits all of the boxes except single layer and embossing.

I started by stamping the circle image from the Elements Of Text stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  Then I inked the splatter image from the Elements Of Text stamp set in Crumb Cake ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the panel.  I used a Small Blending Brush to apply Early Espresso ink to the edges of the panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Day stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Early Espresso ink on the Crumb Cake panel and then adhered the stamped panel to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut another panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the branch dies from the Charming Day Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then used a Small Blending Brush to apply Early Espresso ink to the  die cuts.  I adhered the die cut branches to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the floral image from the Charming Day stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the image with Light and Dark Petal Pink and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the Charming Day Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered three Petal Pink gems from the Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the floral image from the Charming Day stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, colored the image with Light and Dark Petal Pink and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I inked the splatter image with Crumb Cake ink, stamped it off and then stamped it over the Basic White panel to finish the inside of the card.

Tax Free Holidays Coming Soon – Save On Stampin’ Up! Supplies!

Woohoo!  Ten states have upcoming Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

The states with upcoming tax holidays are:  Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.  So if you live in one of those states take a second to download the spreadsheet below and mark your calendar!

Here is the list of states having sales tax holidays, what the dates are and what supplies will be tax free during the holiday (click on the image to download a full-size printable page):

Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period in your state in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday).  Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

For those wondering about Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin, those states have suspended the sales tax holiday this year.
