Stampin’ Up! Homemade Treats Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Homemade Treats stamp set bundle from the upcoming September Online Exclusives to create a Christmas card to share today.  I also created one version of this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.

Stampin' Up! Homemade Treats Christmas Card

My card design is very loosely inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #701.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Christmas Tags & More 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP (available September 3) to the front of one of the Textured Stripes Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes card bases with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Homemade Treats stamp set (Online Exclusive item available September 3) on a panel of Gathering Together Specialty DSP (Online Exclusive item available September 3) in Real Red ink.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Beige card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Silver Foil Sheets with the pan die from the Homemade Treats Dies (Online Exclusive item available September 3) and I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the baking images from the Handmade Treats stamp set in Garden Green, Real Red, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.

I cut the stamped images out with the coordinating Homemade Treats Dies.  I adhered the die cut pieces to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and then added three Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and images from the Homemade Treats stamp set in Real Red, Garden Green and Pecan Pie inks on the inside of the card to finish it.

Love that the Textured Stripes Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes have preprinted envelopes that coordinate for speedy fast and cute cards!
