I used the Stampin’ Up! Words For The Season stamp set bundle and the Sunflowers 3D Embossing Folder to create a fall card to share today. I also created one version of this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.
My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP753. I went right down the middle.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Gathering Together Specialty DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder (restocking around September 22).
I used Sponge Daubers to apply Crushed Curry, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze inks to the embossed sunflowers. Then I brushed over the inked flowers with Wink Of Stella. I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I applied adhesive sheets to the back of a panel of Gold Foil Sheets and then cut the panel with one of the Words Of The Season Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with the Adhesive Sheets.
I stamped the sentiment from the Words Of The Season stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Gathering Together DSP, sprinkled the image with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment with the banner die from the Words Of The Season Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered two of the Streaked Dots to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Gathering Together DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
