I used the Stampin’ Up! Pine Tree Trimmings stamp set bundle to create a fun Christmas shaker card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP (Online Exclusive item) to a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I cut a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock with one of the Branching Out Dies. I adhered the die cut panel to the DSP panel with Stampin’ Seal. I wrapped a strand of Shaded Spruce & Gold Edged 7/8″ Ribbon (Online Exclusive item) around the layered panel and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the back. I pulled another length of ribbon under the first one and tied a bow around it.
I stamped the tree image from the Pine Tree Trimmings photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I cut another panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Branching Out Dies and one of the Pine Tree Trimmings Dies (Online Exclusive item). I trimmed the stamped panel to fit under the die cut panel and then sprinkled Gold Shaker Stars (Online Exclusive item) on the tree image. I adhered one of the Tree Shaker Domes (Online Exclusive item) over the stamped image and stars with the adhesive backing on the dome and then adhered the die cut layer over the top of the dome with the adhesive backing. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Pine Tree Trimmings stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment with one of the openings in the More Messages Die (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added five Faceted Snowflakes (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Pine Tree Trimmings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP to finish the inside of the card.
