I used the Stampin’ Up! Stay Warm stamp set to create a cute winter card and gift box to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
I started by stamping the detailed sweater and hat images from the Stay Warm stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I cleaned the stamps and flipped them over and inked the solid sides of the images in Garden Green ink, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them over the hat and sweater images.
I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Kisses stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on the Basic White card stock panel, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut around the images with one of the Everyday Arches Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered the die cut panel with Stampin’ Seal to an arch that I’d cut from Gold Foil Sheets with another Everyday Arches Dies.
I adhered the layered panel to the front of one of the Christmas Greetings Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes and then adhered two Dear Dots to the card front to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Kisses stamp set and the Stay Warm stamp set in Garden Green ink (stamped off once for the fill-in images) on the inside of the card to finish it.
I cut another one of the Christmas Greetings Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes with the large die from the Jolly Delivery Dies and then assembled the box. Then I stamped the hat images from the Stay Warm stamp set in Garden Green ink on the inside of the leftover die cut card base. I cut around the image with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then punched a hole with one of the Hole Punch Assortment Punches (Online Exclusive item) in the die cut.
I wrapped a length of Black & White & Gold Baker’s Twine (Online Exclusive item) around the box and then tied the die cut circle to the box with the twine. I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Kisses stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Garden Green card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
