Stampin’ Up! Branching Out Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Branching Out stamp set bundle to create a quick birthday card to share with you today.  I also created this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.

Stampin' Up! Branching Out Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #704.

I started by cutting a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Branching Out Dies.  I stamped the branch image from the Branching Out stamp set in Crumb Cake ink across the die cut panel.  Then I added the pine needles in Garden Green ink and the Pinecones in Pecan Pie ink across the panel.  I stamped the berries image from the Branching Out stamp set in Crumb Cake ink across the panel and then added the snow dots image from the Branching Out stamp set in Pool Party ink across the panel.

I adhered the stamped die cut to the front of a Christmas Greetings Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the pine bough, berries and pinecone dies from the Branching Out Dies.  I used a Small Blending Brush to apply Garden Green, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie inks to the die cut pieces.  I adhered the pine boughs and berries die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Branching Out Dies in VersaMark ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Wonderful Thoughts Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered the three pinecone die cuts around the sentiment with Mini Glue Dots and then added three Iridescent Foil Gems around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and pine images from the Branching Out stamp set in Garden Green, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie inks to finish the inside of the card.
