I used the Stampin’ Up! A Child Is Born stamp set to create a quick Christmas card to share with you today. I also created another version this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Season Of Elegance DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the images from the A Child Is Born stamp set in VersaMark in on a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock, sprinkled them with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and heat embossed them.
I cut around the images with one of the Everyday Arches Dies (Online Exclusive item). Then I cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with another one of the Every Day Arches Dies. I adhered the layered die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the A Child Is Born stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Textured Notes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. I adhered three gold dots from the Traditional Sparkling Sequins to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and manger images from the A Child Is Born stamp set in Pretty Peacock and Basic Beige inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
I also made this card in Basic Beige rather than Pretty Peacock since I loved the design!
