I used the Stampin’ Up! Gingerbread Man stamp set bundle to create a quick fun fold Christmas card to share with you today. On an unrelated note, I’m also sharing my YouTube video showing you all of the preorder items that I picked up from the upcoming November 4 Online Exclusives! You can find that video right here.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper to a panel of Basic White card stock and then to a panel of Real Red card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I stamped the gingerbread outline and button images from the Gingerbread Man stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pecan Pie card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.
I stamped the face image from the Gingerbread Man stamp set in VersaMark ink inside the outline image, sprinkled it with black embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the image out with the large Gingerbread Man Die. Then stamped the sentiment from the Gingerbread Man stamp set inside the card in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I folded the card in half and adhered it to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.
I cut panels of Real Red and Basic White card stocks with the scarf, hat, lollipop and bow dies from the Gingerbread Man Dies. I snipped the “trim” off the Real Red hat and adhered the die cut pieces together with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the lollipop and bow pieces together and adhered the scarf to the gingerbread man die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the hat, lollipop and bow die cuts with Mini Glue Dots, making sure that the dots did not extend past the edges of the gingerbread man. I stamped the sentiment from the Gingerbread Man stamp set in Garden Green ink on Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Nested Essentials Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints to finish the card front.
I adhered three Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints to the inside of the card to finish it.
