I used the Stampin’ Up! Branching Out stamp set and a little of the Hobby Haven Specialty DSP from the upcoming November 4 Online Exclusives to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Hobby Haven Specialty DSP (Online Exclusive item available November 4) to the front of a Coastal Cabana card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered another panel of Hobby Haven DSP to a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a small bow from Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Branching Out stamp set in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two Dear Dots next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Hobby Haven DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.

I had fun creating a couple of additional cards with other panels of the Hobby Haven DSP. I just switched the card base colors and the Dear Dots colors to Petal Pink and Garden Green!
