I used the Stampin’ Up! Fluffy Squirrel stamp set bundle to create a fun fall card to share with you today. I also created this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.
My card theme was inspired by As You See It Challenge #358. My favorite thing is the pretty fall leaves!
My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC281. I went straight across the middle.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Gathering Together Specialty DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I tore one edge off another panel of Gathering Together DSP and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I cut a circle from Cajun Craze card stock with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Fluffy Squirrel stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the die cut circle to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the lined squirrel and acorn images from the Fluffy Squirrel stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the acorn images with Light and Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. Then I stamped the fill-in squirrel image in Cajun Craze ink over the lined image and then punched the images with the coordinating Fluffy Squirrel Builder Punch. I adhered the squirrel and one acorn to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and two acorns with Mini Glue Dots to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Gathering Together DSP to the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
