Stampin’ Up! Petals Of Beauty Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I’m sharing a birthday card made with the Stampin’ Up! Petals Of Beauty and Words Of Beauty stamp set bundles from the upcoming November 4 Online Exclusives with you today.  I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.

Stampin' Up! Petals Of Beauty Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #473.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Brushed With Beauty DSP (Online Exclusive item available November 4) to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I tore the top and bottom edges of another panel of Brushed With Beauty DSP and I adhered the paper to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the leaves and flower images from the Petals Of Beauty stamp set (Online Exclusive item available November 4) in Bubble Bath (stamped off once for the fill-in images), Petal Pink (stamped off once for the fill-in images), Darkling Duckling (stamped off once) and Mossy Meadow inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Then I cut the images out with the coordinating Petals Of Beauty Dies (Online Exclusive item available November 4).  I adhered the leaves and small flowers with Mini Glue Dots and the larger flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Words Of Beauty stamp set (Online Exclusive item available November 4) in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Words Of Beauty Dies (Online Exclusive item available November 4) and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I applied small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock and then cut the panel with one of the Words Of Beauty Dies.  I cut a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the outline die from the Words Of Beauty Dies and then adhered the two die cuts together with the Adhesive Sheets.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Pearls Of Beauty (Online Exclusive item available November 4) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Brushed With Beauty DSP to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
