Stampin’ Up! Peace On Earth Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Peace On Earth stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Peace On Earth Christmas Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peace On Earth stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then adhered the sentiment to a panel of Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper that I’d cut with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut another panel of Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper with the branch die from the Peace On Earth Dies (restocking around November 24) and then adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Peace On Earth Dies and then used a Blending Brush to apply Secret Sea ink lightly over the dove.  I adhered the dove to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Words For The Season stamp set in Secret Sea ink on a panel of Basic White card stock panel and then adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut another dove from Basic White card stock with the Peace On Earth Dies and then lightly brushed Secret Sea ink over the die cut with a Blending Brush.  I adhered the dove to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal to finish it.
