We made it to the Crafty Elk Lodge safely yesterday for the team retreat and the fun has begun! We all laughed until we cried at dinner last night and can’t wait for more fun today! Here is a photo of the group getting set up! Looking forward to another awesome day today!
I used the Stampin’ Up! Stay Warm stamp set to create a quick winter card to share with you today. I also created this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.
I started by adhering a panel of Country Woods DSP to a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I stamped the lined sweater and hat images from the Stay Warm stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I cleaned the stamps and flipped them over, inked them in Flirty Flamingo ink, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them over the lined images on the Basic White panel.
I cut the stamped images with one of the Everyday Arches Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then cut a panel of Strawberry Slush card stock with the next largest die from the Everyday Arches Dies. I adhered the two die cuts together with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.
I stamped the sentiment from the Snowy Delights stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two Strawberry Slush gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Snowy Delights stamp set in Strawberry Slush ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then stamped the mitten images from the Stay Warm stamp set in Strawberry Slush and Flirty Flamingo (stamped on scrap paper once) to finish the inside of the card.
