I used the Stampin’ Up! Pop-Up Petals stamp set bundle from the upcoming November 4 Online Exclusives to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also created this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Floral Impressions DSP (Online Exclusive item) to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I cut panels of Fresh Freesia and Whispers Of Texture Specialty Paper (Online Exclusive available November 4) with two of the Branching Out Dies. I adhered the two die cuts together with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the floral image and two butterflies from the Pop-Up Petals stamp set (Online Exclusive item available November 4) in Garden Green ink and the vase in Pool Party ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the flower fill-in images in Fresh Freesia and Peach Pie inks over the lined images. I colored the petals with Light Old Olive and the butterflies with Light and Dark Pretty In Pink and Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the stamped images with the coordinating Pop-Up Petals Dies (Online Exclusive item available November 4) and then adhered them to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiment from the Banner Sayings stamp set (Online Exclusive item available November 4) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I punched the sentiment out with one of the openings in the Three Banner Punch (Online Exclusive item Available November 4) and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I scored and then cut the center of a Fresh Freesia card stock panel with the pop-up die from the Pop-Up Petals Dies. I stamped the flower center image twice over the die cut area and then adhered the panel inside the first card base with Stampin’ Seal. I cut a panel of Pool Party card stock with the edge dies from the Pop-Up Petals Dies and then adhered the die cuts with Stampin’ Seal to the inside of the card.
I stamped the flower images from the Pop-Up Petals stamp set in Garden Green, Fresh Freesia and Peach Pie inks on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the leaves with Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker and then cut the image with the coordinating Pop-Up Petals Dies. I adhered the die cut to the inside of the card with a Mini Glue Dot.
Finally, I stamped the sentiments from the Banner Sayings stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I punched the images out with the coordinating Three Banner Punch and then adhered them to the inside of the card to finish it.
