Stampin’ Up! Simply Said Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Simply Said Birthday Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Brushed With Beauty DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut another panel of Brushed With Beauty DSP with one of the Perennial Postage Dies.  I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock and then to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I tied a small bow with Linen Thread and then adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.  I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut around it with one of the Perennial Postage Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock and then to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered three Pearls Of Beauty to finish the card front.
